Thsi is for unrelated and miscellaneous information and discussions. To start, here is "Fifty Virtual Worlds to choose from". Very interesting video. Noticed Active Worlds, Worlds.com, Habbo Hotel and other older places. And the newer players in the ring. Noticed an absence of Blaxxun communities. Guess they are not places to choose from.

... OMIND, I have Blaxxun Platform on my computer and I play with it. I wont to learn PERL to can comand his processes ! I will be an expert in 'Platform 7' ... :-))
... And I have anther great VR Server, Yeah, is SCOL Server ... At the winter or at the spring I will be with him online !
... I wont more VR Servers, I wont more and more good VR Servers !

On the adult side there is Virtual Vancouver by Utherverse Inc. Their site calims to be the first 3D social network. Hmmmm..... Anyway, it is a SL/Kaneva style virtual network that is strictly for adults. You have to download a client and then access it through that. Nothing new there but interesting. Provides a free account with incentives to go to a pay account like more pornography, sex and nudity.

This Virtual Vancouver 3D adult site,....I wonder if it's loaded with the usual hijacking, spyware and trojan viruses running in the background that are the normal fare in a lot of regular 2D porn websites......

Actually no. It is merely another virtual site. I signed up for the free account and tried it out. Probably won't go back though (Not really my cup of tea). But it seemed perfectly safe. JOI (Jewel of Indra) is an adult VRML Community and though I have never been to it. I do know people that go there and it is perfectly safe.

Actually, I have witnessed worse on SL than I saw on Virtual Vancouver. Can't speak for the pay accounts though.

Warm howdy ya'll. Blaxxun free community worlds are back up again. I guess they finally got the hacking problem fixed. (This is what Klaus had written to me about why it was down.) Now. Will the site continue to stay up...that is the question. I for one, hope it will. Yes. The problem of constant crashing is a big concern so I have changed over to using Bitmanagement and though I do not care for the floating logo if I were not so cheap I would get the program sans logo. Just very happy that Blax is up once again. Hope to see ya'll in the worlds. :))

I think Shadowtraveller made a mistake :).
She came to outside.revemonde.net which is the free side of a Blaxxun plateform 7 hosted by Revemonde and named Inside.
Outside will be online forever until Blaxxun public test server is back. For the rest nobody seems to know...

Anyone can use it, changing the two firsts lines of his contact.bxx file :

port 4000

This is a scandal ! :))
